WINFRED LEON POTTER age 86 of Crossville, TN passed away October 6, 2019. He was born june 17, 1933 in Crossville, TN the son of Floyd and Arbana Potter. He was a retired machinist from Mallory's in Sparta and was also a United States Navy veteran having served our country during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of Homestead Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons- David Potter of Crossville, TN, Dan Potter and his wife Tammy of Ocean Gate, FL and Don Potter of Raleigh, NC, daughter- Connie Tacke and her husband Edward of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Ivy Brown, Daniel Potter, Nathan Potter, Vanessa Potter, Lindsay Potter, Justin Potter, Eli Kerley, Rachel Briar Kerley and Emily Regan Tacke and great grandchildren- Ellie Popplewell and Isaiah Tillerey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Jannette Potter, brothers- JH Potter, Thurman Potter, Herman Potter, Lowell Potter and Clyde Potter and sisters- Doreen Barnett, Willodean Barnes, Alene Wright and infant sister, Opal Potter.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 11, 2019 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
