WALCIE LOUELLA PAINTER age 91 of Crossville, TN passed away May 24, 2022. She was born May 13, 1931 in New Tazewell, TN the daughter of William and Harriett Ford Jones. She was a gifted seamstress and quilter. She loved her family greatly and enjoyed taking care of them.

She is survived by her children- Peggy Paquette and her husband Neil, Brenda York and her husband Jerry, Nancy Duncan and her husband Charles and Tim Painter and his wife Debbie all of Crossville, TN, sister- Rellie Swallows, grandchildren- Jennifer Brown and her husband Daniel, Caleb Paquette and his wife Ashley, Matthew Carr and his wife Ashley and Emma Carson and her husband Matt, great grandchildren- Daniel Brown, Julianna Brown, Ella Brown, Ali Carr, Finley Paquette, Gracyn Carson and Aubri Carr and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Painter, sisters- Mary Myers and Ocie Johnson and brothers- Dewey, Floyd, Jessie, Charlie, Claude and Buck Jones.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 28, 2022 at 11am at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am-11am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
