Vivian Christopher Garrett, age 73, joined those gone before her in heaven September 15, 2022. Vivian was a remarkable woman who loved her family fiercely, especially her grandson Kameron Michael. She was a long time member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Although she was born in Anderson County, Vivian spent most of her life in Crossville. She retired after 30 plus years from Cumberland Medical Center. Vivian was a humble lady who enjoyed life. She spent much of her free time planting and tending to the flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed golfing, playing tennis and watching football, especially the Tennessee Vols.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Retha Christopher, her husband Ronnie Garrett, her brothers Joe Christopher and C.H. Christopher, and her son Chad Garrett. She is survived by her son Michael Joe Garrett, her grandson Kameron Michael Garrett; her brother Tim (Becky) Christopher, sisters-in-laws Classie Christopher and Carlene Christopher and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 2:00pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00noon-2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Garden.
