VIRGIL CALDWELL age 90 of Crossville, TN passed away May 24, 2021. He was born March 19, 1931 in Cumberland, KY the son of Claude and Mary Sparks Caldwell. He was retired as a supervisor and attended Creston Baptist Church. He was a fine Christian man who loved his family and the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Bessie Gross Caldwell of Crossville, TN, sons- Bobby Ray Caldwell and his wife Terri of South Carolina, Shelby Caldwell of South Carolina, Virgil Caldwell Jr. and his wife Debbie of Savannah, TN and James Lester Caldwell and his wife Kim of Crossville, TN, daughters- Wanda Sue Feltner of Crossville, TN and Vera Marie Hendon of South Carolina, daughter-in-law- Sheila Caldwell of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Elizabeth, Tray, Kimberly, Tammy Rae, Shelby Rae, Charity, Kristin, Steven, Brian, Timothy, Randy, Kurt, Erica, Joann, Stacy, Will, Michael, Patrick, David and Winter Rose and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Robert Caldwell and grandson- James Anthony Feltner.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 1, 2021 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
