VICKIE DARLENE TURNER, age 64 of Crossville, TN passed away February 6, 2021. She was born February 11, 1956 in Monterey, TN the daughter of Garnet and Wanda Mahaney Smith. She worked many years for the Cumberland County School System as an interpreter for the special education dept. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son- Shane Bailey of Crossville, TN, brothers- Randy Smith of Locust Grove, GA, Tommy Smith and his wife April of Morganton, GA and Steve Pelfrey and his wife April of Rockwood, TN, sisters- Diane Smith and her husband Junior of Crossville, TN, Rebecca Read and her husband Mark of Crossville, TN, Sharon Tiggs and her husband Tony of Port Orchard, WA, Norita Colwell of Elijay, GA and Linda Pelfrey of Rockwood, TN and many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rick Turner.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 10, 2021 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mayland Cemetery.
