Mrs. Trudy Nadine Gibbons , age 60 , of Ozone community , victoriously gained her heavenly home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday , March 2 4 , 20 25 , after her long cancer battle . She was born January 6 , 19 65 , in Crab Orchard , a daughter of the late J.D . and Hilda Thompson. Trudy was also preceded in death by her sister Linda Kay Thompson , nephew Micha el Dale Thompson , and mother and father-in-law Sadie and Glen Gibbons .

Trudy was a very strong Christian woman and loved dearly by all who knew her.  She was a former employee of Walmart until she decided to be a full-time caretaker of her beloved parents . She enjoyed arts and crafts with her church family, camping, swimming and spending time outdoors with her large extended family .

Trudy is survived by her devoted husband Jeff Gibbons of 43 years, brothers Danny Thompson, Barry Thompson, Terry (Joan) Thompson and Tim Thompson all of Crab Orchard, 10 nephews, and 8 nieces. She also leaves behind numerous other family members including cousins, in-laws and many friends who will sadly miss her.

Honoring her wishes, t here will be a private graveside service held at a later date . The family would like to thank all the medical personnel who helped take care of Trudy and a special thank you to Dr. Mark Hendrixson and staff.
