Timothy Elwood Ferguson of Crossville, TN(previously Clearwater, FL) went to be with the Lord on December 21st, 2024 after sudden illness at the age of 65. He was laid to rest at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Crossville, TN.
Tim was born December 17th, 1959 in Columbus, OH to Theodore Kenneth Ferguson and Betty DeQuasie Ferguson. He graduated from Grandview Heights Highschool in 1978 in Columbus, OH and soon after moved to Pinellas Park, FL. Tim married his wife, Diane, on March 28th,1981, in Pinellas Park, FL. He graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor of Science, and then went on to earn a Master of Business from The University of Tampa. He earned both his Certified in Planning and Inventory Management and Certified Professional in Patient Safety certifications. He worked in management for various companies throughout his life including Baxter Healthcare, Conax/Cobham, Cardinal Health, and Raytheon. He and his brother Ted founded Paragon Community Healthcare in New Port Richey in 2009 where he served as the Chief Financial Officer until his retirement in 2021. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church of Pinellas Park for over 45 years until he moved to TN in 2022.
Tim loved his family, church family, and friends. He was known for being extremely generous. He enjoyed going on walks and hikes with his wife, and they frequented Florida's and Tennessee's state and local parks. He loved humor, old tv shows, and working in the yard, especially while listening to loud music. Watching and taking pictures of wildlife, especially birds, was one of his favorite past times. After moving to TN, he lived on a lake and appreciated looking out over the water each morning at God's beautiful landscape.
Tim will be sadly missed by is his wife of 43 years, Diane Ferguson; his children, Matthew Ferguson and wife, Christy; Sarah Blake and husband, Trent; grandchildren, Judah, Peter, Caddie, and Josiah Ferguson; brothers, Theodore, Robert, and Christopher Ferguson; sisters, Pamela Allen and Terri Atkins; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Betty Ferguson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Grace Brethren Church, 6300 62nd Avenue North, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 on January 25th, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
