THOMAS CLAUDE "TOMMY" SIMPSON age 50 of Grandview, TN passed away May 12, 2022 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1971 at Rhea Hospital the son of Betty Simpson and Donald Simpson.

Tommy was a life-long resident of Rhea County and worked at La-Z-Boy for several years. He was a huge fan of the Tennessee Vols and Tennessee Titans football teams and enjoyed watching dirt track racing. He loved driving his Camaro and participating in Camaro car shows. He loved his family and friends and was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his mother- Betty Simpson, stepdad- Wayne Simpson, brothers- Barry and Mike Simpson and sister- Flora Ann "Sissy" Simpson.

Survivors include his father- Donald Simpson (Leila) of Grandview, sister- Robin Barcus (Richard) of Grandview, TN, sister-in-law- Jackie Simpson Anderson of Indiana, nephew- Mitchell Simpson (Heather) of Grandview, TN, nieces- Susan Stacie Barcus of Jamestown, OH, Holly Rohland of Evansville, great nephew- Christopher Peak of Evansville, great great nephew- Braylon Peak of Evansville, great great niece- Madalyn Peak of Evansville, aunt- Carolyn Phelps of Snellville, GA and numerous cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 4, 2022 at 2:00pm at Faith Baptist Church, 358 Happy Top Rd., Grandview, TN. Pastor Justin Dannel will officiate.
