THOMAS L. AKINS age 86 of Crossville, TN passed away November 16, 2025. He was born May 10, 1939 in Crossville, TN the son of Arthur E. and Della L. Hale Akins. He worked years with the railroad in sales and also served our country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his brother- Charles Akins and his wife Audrey of Crossville, TN, sisters- Gweldia Gannon and her husband Robert, Donna "Kitty" Hale and her husband Ike all of Crossville, TN and Nancy Dodgins of Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives- Ethel Wyatt Akins, Patricia Covin Akins and Judi Mills Akins, brothers-Bill Akins, Donald Akins and Jim Akins and sisters- Mary Ruth Akins and Jerushia "Rushie" Gernt.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
