Theresa M. Pickett, age 95, of Crossville, TN passed away on July 24, 2023. She was born Sept 14, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. to the late Joseph and Mary Ondick Suder. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her years of entertaining as an officer's wife. She kept herself busy with family and hobbies, such as ceramics and crocheting. All new babies in the family had a few pairs of her famous booties. She was always up for a game of Yahtzee or Uno, with whoever came to visit. Some of her favorite times were spent at Fair Park Senior Center in Crossville, where she made many friends, and enjoyed her time, playing bingo and participating in various events. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Gene, her sister Pauline, and her son, Gene Junior. She was the beloved mother to Mary Jean (Douglas) Mione, Linda Pickett, Joseph Pickett, Theresa ( James) Thomas, and Carolann (Tim) Faulkner. She adored and doted on her 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 4pm at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3pm-4pm at the funeral home.
