Obituary

Susanne Mann Lovett, 79, crossed over from this life into eternal life with Jesus on March 7, 2018 at the Cumberland County Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to the late Hugh and Nettie Lewis Mann on September 24, 1938, in Cerulean, KY. She graduated from South Christian High School in Christian County, KY. She was married to Howard "Sky" King for 23 years. They were blessed with two beloved children, Conway King and Cynthia Farren.

Susanne was preceded in death January 2017, by her loving husband of 32 years, Forest Lovett. They resided in Fairfield Glade, TN, for 20 years. They were both loyal, dedicated members of the Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church. Susanne's Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers she wore in her hair. She was a dedicated prayer warrior and regularly remembered others with both her prayers and cards. She was also very active in the Cumberland County Senior Citizens Center. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children and step-children, Conway King and Glenn Lovett (California) and Cynthia Farren, Edward Lovett, Sharon Morrison and Janet Harlamert (Ohio), Brenda Coy (Georgia), and Brandon Lovett (Tennessee); by her two sisters, Sarah Mann Joyce of Cookeville, TN and Euna Mann Hancock Brown and her husband Glenn of Fort Worth, TX as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and loyal friends who will miss her dearly. She will remain in our hearts forever.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at First Baptist Church in Fairfield Glade, TN, on March 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of love may be donated to the Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church's building fund or to the Hospice House of Cumberland County. We will be forever grateful to both for the loving care they provided to both Forest and Susanne.
