STEVEN WAYNE McGRAW age 70 of Crossville, TN passed from this life January 4, 2024. He was born February 11, 1953, in Washington D.C. to the late Jospeh B. II and Bobbie Standefer McGraw. He was also preceded in death by his beloved brother Larry McGraw of Waldorf, Maryland. He retired after his extensive service as Lieutenant at Bledsoe County Correctional Facility. Steve, of the Baptist faith, was a beloved father, uncle, brother, but most of all Grandad. Steve loved spending time at the campgrounds, Dollywood, and the great outdoors with the kids and grandkids. Steve was an avid golfer and often played with his brother David McGraw. He loved to be surrounded by family, with his contagious laugh and loving spirit. Nurturing, devoted and passionate are just a few words to describe our Steve.

He is survived by his daughter- Emily (Keith) Tanner and son- Joseph McGraw of Crossville, TN, brothers- David (Wanda) McGraw and Tim (Robin) McGraw all of Crossville, TN, sisters- Donna (Glenn) Davis and Tracey (Clyde) Foust all of Pikeville, TN, sister-in-law- Virginia McGraw, grandchildren- Kylie Tanner, Camille Tanner, Cambri Tanner, Titus Tanner, Caleb Logsdon, Lucas Logsdon, Elijah Logsdon, Gavin Logsdon and Hadassah Logsdon and his special extended grandchildren- Abigail and Madison Daniels.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday January 13, 2024, at 6pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4pm-6pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
