Obituary

Steve Randall McClung (Peewee) passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 15, 1946 in Gadsden, AL. He served our country as a United States Marine. He retired from Combustion Engineering in 1994 and spent his days after at Virgil Reed Stone. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, his children- Mark (Melissa) McClung, David (Vanessa) McClung, Scott (Tracy) McClung, Stacy (Tommy) Davis all of Grandview and Steve (Melissa) McClung of Crossville, TN. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren Brian (Heather) and Alyssa McClung, Nichole, David Jr. (Grayson) McClung, Ally, Hayden (Kaitlyn) McClung, Chelsea Corey, Brookelyn, Rexton, Peyton, and Faith Davis, Brodie, Brett, and Becca McClung, Brittney (Chris) Shultz. He was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren and still counting. He is also survived by one brother Thomas McClung of MacDonald, TN, 3 sisters Wanda Jean (Bud) Lawson of Etowah, TN, Sheila (John) Romines of MacDonald, TN, and Diane (Milford) Garrard of Pisgah, AL and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Nannie Ruth McClung and his brother James McClung Jr.

There will be a celebration of his life for his family and friends at his home at 135 Steve McClung Lane, Grandview, TN on Thursday from 2pm-4pm est. The service will be at 4pm est. There will be a private burial for the family following the celebration. Please come and share your stories and memories with his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Smokey Mountain Children's Home at 449 McCarn Circle, Sevierville, TN 37862.
