STEPHEN ALLEN SELBY age 51 of Crossville, TN passed away September 6, 2019. He was born December 28, 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of Jim Arthur and Linda Louise Buchholz Selby. He was a registered nurse and was lovingly referred to as "Scuba Steve or "Redneck Nurse Dippy". He was a kind and caring man who loved taking care of others. Steve's native name was Standing Hawk and he had a great interest in the Native American flutes, drums, dreamcatchers and blow guns. He loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, making his own nets and boating. One of his favorite places was Black Man Falls. He enjoyed scuba diving, and liked working as a blacksmith and with leather. He made boomerangs and swords. Steve was loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife- Andrea Ottinger Selby of Crossville, TN, daughter- Alanah Smith of Crossville, TN, stepson- Caleb Ottinger of Crossville, TN, father and mother- Jim and Linda Buchholz Selby of Crossville, TN, brother- Jonathan Selby of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Axel Smith and Sei Allen Ottinger and niece and nephew- Hannah James Selby and Jack Henry Selby.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law- Valerie Selby.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 11, 2019 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Garden.
