STANLEY F. HORN age 77 of Crossville, TN passed away March 8, 2022. He was born March 14, 1944 in Nashville, TN  He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and LSU. He was journalist and a published author and was also a Merchant Marine having served our country during Vietnam. He played football at Vanderbilt and wrote for their sports magazine at LSU. He was a very gifted writer who also wrote articles for the New York Times as well. He was a kind and generous man who loved his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife- Shirley Horn of Crossville, TN stepsons- Jimmy Turner and his wife Ashley and Shalon Turner and his wife Melissa all of Crossville, TN and step grandchildren- Kelsey Turner, Carley Turner and Joshua Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Sunday March 20, 2022 at 2pm at Bethel Baptist Church.
