SHIRLEY JEAN WHALEY age 83 of Grandview, TN passed away May 20, 2022. She was born June 18, 1938 in Paris, KY the daughter of Elmo and Sally Emmons Prather. She worked many years as an Assistant Vice President in the banking Industry before her retirement.

She is survived by her granddaughters- Tammy Bolin and her husband Brent of Crossville, TN, Jenny Dixon and her husband John, Scarlet Claxton and her husband Rodney and Crystal Drury and her husband Bo all of Callahan, FL and  several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Garland and daughter- Angela Whaley.

Funeral services will be held  Friday May 27, 2022 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
