Shirley N. Adams, 82, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Crossville with family by her side.

Shirley was born August 07, 1935, in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan.

The middle child of seven sisters, Shirley lived a vibrant and fulfilling life. There was no one Shirley loved more than her late husband and best friend Charlie, with whom she traveled the corners of the country and the long highways of life for 42 years, and we can safely surmise that her last thoughts were on reuniting with him and her family and friends One Day. A faithful mother who in her earlier years devoted her life to taking care of her children and making sure they wanted for nothing, she carried this devotion to serving others throughout her life.

Shirley is survived by her children, Fred M. Adams, Randy L. Adams (Joan), Linda G. Adams, Brenda Adams, and Holly Smith; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters Wanda Utech (Richard), Judith Diane Taracks and Terry Lynne Lawmorie (William); and many, many friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Feb. 04, at 1 p.m. at Crossville Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 2335 West Avenue Crossville, TN 38571. If you would like to give, flowers are welcome or a donation to the SDA Family Life Center would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
