Sherry Lynn Diaz age 53 of Garland, TX formerly of Crossville, TN passed away December 3, 2019. She was born in Crossville, TN the daughter of Cotton and Martha Houston Hankins. She worked many years as a CNA.

She is survived by her husband- Adolfo Diaz of Garland, TX, children- Katrina Anaya and her husband Miguel of McMinnville, TN, David Skyles of McMinnville, TN, Adolfo Diaz JR., Roger Diaz, Evelin Digueros and her husband Melvin, Karen Diaz, Bessy Diaz and Sheny Diaz all of Garland, TX and Vivian Diaz of Guatemala, father Cotton Hankins and his companion Betty Houston of Crossville, TN, sister- Barbara Jean Lynch of Crossville, TN and twenty grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sisters- Alisa Adams and Donna Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 10, 2019 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday December 9, 2019 from 5pm-9pm at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Lick Cemetery.
