SANDRA LEE TYDA-KINNETT, loving known as Sandy, went to be with the Lord, July 10, 2023. She was born February 22, 1943, in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and Flores Tyda. She worked as a care giver and a waitress as well as being a homemaker. She loved to cook, sing, and collect angels. She was a supporter of Southern Heritage and a former member of the Order of Confederate Rose. Sandy was crowned Miss Senior of Cumberland County in 2005.

She is survived by her companion- Charles Matt Ervin, brothers- Mark Tyda and Larry Tyda and several friends who cared for her and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David, daughter- Cindi, sister- Debbie and former companion Ray Claxton.

Graveside services will be held Friday July 14, 2023, at 10am at New Era Cemetery.
