SAMMIE JOE MOORE age 83 of Crossville, TN passed away September 11, 2020. He was born April 19, 1937 in Chavies, KY the son of Ollie and Lorena Dunaway Moore. He was retired from the Cumberland County School System and was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years- Janette Moore of Crossville, TN, son- Bobby Moore (Ashley) of Crossville, TN, Leslie Baker (David) of Zephyrhills, FL and Deborah McCartney (Kevin) of Cleveland, TN, grandchildren- Christopher Moore, Katie McCartney and Olivia Moore, brother- Larry Moore (Louise) of Snellville, GA, sister- Barbara Smith of Naples, FL and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 15, 2020 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
