SAM THOMAS HALE age 77 of Crossville, TN passed away October 8, 2020. He was born November 6, 1942 in Pleasant Hill, TN the son of Charlie and Willene Brewer Hale. He was retired after many years as a lineman and electrician and was also a member of Crab Orchard Christian Church. Sam was a United States Army veteran having served our country during Vietnam. One of his favorite pastimes was playing golf and spending precious time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife- Sherry Hale of Crossville, TN, son- Butch Hale of Crossville, TN, daughter- Sami Pugh and her husband Tim of Crab Orchard, TN, brother- Ike Hale and his wife Kitty of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Chelsea Risse and her husband Kyle, Taylor Hale, Hunter Pugh and Spencer Pugh and great grandchildren- Garrett Risse and Arrianna Risse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters- Linda Wyatt and Stephanie Threet.

Funeral services will be held Sunday October 11, 2020 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1pm-3pm prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully asked that donations be made to the Crab Orchard Christian Church Building Fund, 217 Wheeler Lane, Crab Orchard, TN 37723.
