RUTH ELLEN PENDLETON age 78 of Grandview, TN passed away July 21, 2020. She was born October 6, 1941 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Robert and Myrtle Vaughn Abbott. She worked several years as a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son- Alan Eugene Pendleton and his wife Kim of Crossville, TN, daughters- Sheila Becker and her fiancé Lonnie Kilby of Crossville, TN and Rebecca Lynn Elmore and her husband Scott of Crossville, TN, brothers- Harold Abbott and his wife Vicky of Washington, IN and Mike Abbott and his wife Brenda of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Ashley Pelfrey, Kayla Wilson, Ben Pendleton, Joshua Becker, Colby Gibson and Taneya Pendleton, great grandchildren- Anna Daugherty, Lane Pelfrey, Soren Wilson, Aubree Wilson, Raylan Pelfrey, Riley Becker and Eli Gibson and many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Pendleton, twin daughters- Debbie Lou and Donna Lee Pendleton and brother- Ray Abbott.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 24, 2020 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm-3pm prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery.
