RUTH "ALICE" EDINGER age 82 of Monterey, TN passed away July 10, 2023. She was born December 6, 1940, in Miami, FL the daughter of Leonard and Mary Alice Norman Wilson. She was retired after more than 20 as Vice President of First National Bank in Crossville, TN and was also a member of Haley's Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Clyde Edinger of Monterey, TN, sons- Michael A. Edinger of Old Town, FL and Patrick W. Edinger of West Palm Beach, FL, son-in-law- Tim Sherrill of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Mark Sherrill, Amber Wile, Leslie McKenna and Ashley Sherrill, great grandchildren- Timothy Robinson and Jordan Wile and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her children- Michael S. Edinger, Mary A. Sherrill and Debbie Edinger Garrett.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 13, 2023, at 1pm at Hood Funeral home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am-1pm, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully asked that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Alice's memory.
