ROY D. ANDERSON age 86 of Crossville, TN passed away December 23, 2019. He was born August 12, 1933 in Brotherton, TN the son of Felix and Mirtie Ashburn Anderson, He worked with TVA many years as an electrical engineer and was also a United States Air Force veteran. He and his wife Sara were previous owners of A&W Root Beer and the Village Market in Pleasant Hill. They were also members of Homestead Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sara Anderson of Crossville, TN, son- Rickye Anderson and his wife Darlene of Old Hickory, TN, daughters- Pamela K. Burnett and her husband Barry of Crossville, TN and Kathy Randolph and her husband Randall also of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Jessica Mackens and her husband Austin, Amy Anderson, Kelly Jones, Travis Ingram, Russell Ingram and his wife Sarah, Kristie Davis and his wife Jordan, Carrie Mitchell and her husband Adam, Randy Burnett, Tyler Randolph and his wife, Sierra, Jason Randolph and his wife April and Melissa Mosely and her husband Josh and great grandchildren- Gavin, Elispeth, Tara, Connor, Abby, Maddie Kate and Everett, brother- Bill Anderson and his wife Janet of Crossville, TN and sister- Bettie Hargis of Lenior City, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers- Bobby Anderson and Ralph Anderson and sister- Faye Anderson Hassler.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 27, 2019 at 1pm at Hood funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
