Obituary

Robert Bernard Tekulve of Crossville, TN passed away peacefully
at his home on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
Formerly of Cincinnati, OH and Covington, KY, Bob was born on
June 23, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Joseph R. and Maria
Mercedes Yurizza Tekulve.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A
carpenter by trade, Bob was a skilled woodworker who made his
living restoring homes when he wasn't taking care of the many
beloved pets in his life. He also loved to travel with his wife
Sharon, especially to the ocean. An old salt to the end, he was
an avid sailor and fisherman. Bob was fond of cooking and on
family vacations could often be found in the kitchen whipping up
vast meals, including his favorite, goetta. A loyal fan of the
Cincinnati Reds, Bob enjoyed watching games with family and
friends. Known for his wry, and good-natured sense of humor,
Bob's ability to tell a story was legendary among his family. He
was loved by all, in particular his many nieces and nephews, and
is remembered as a favorite Uncle in the family.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his
brother, John Tekulve.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Seitz Tekulve; sisters, Sister
Emmanuel, LSP; Sylvia Poehler; Carol (Ken) Powers; Patricia
Tekulve; Marian Maile; and brother, Joseph Tekulve.
A memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held at a future
date.
Memorials may be directed to Little Sisters of the Poor, 476
Riddle Road, Cincinnati, OH 45220 or a charity of your choice.
