ROBERT JAMES HAMMOND age 78 of Crossville, TN passed away March 12, 2018. He was born June 16, 1939 in Cincinnati, OH the son of Robert Hammond Sr. He was retired after many as a data processor with RL Polk Co. He and his wife Margie then moved to Ocala, FL where he worked several years at Sears. After his full retirement he and Margie moved to Tennessee. He was a dedicated member of Crab Orchard Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife- Margie Hammond of Crossville, brothers- Chris Hammond and Kenneth Hammond and his wife Beverly all of Ohio, sister- Connie Fritz and her husband Bob of Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Timothy Hammond.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 16, 2018 at 10am at Crab Orchard Christian Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8pm at the church. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery. The family has asked that donations be made to the Crab Orchard Christian Church building fund.
