PETER KAUFMANN age 91 of Fairfield Glade, TN passed away April 4, 2019. He was born June 6, 1927 in Astoria, NY the son of Joseph and Mary Lhotan Kaufmann. He retired as an engineer with AT&T and a was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. After retirement and moving to the Glade he worked many years at the Fairfield Glade Tennis Center. He was also a United States Navy veteran having served during WWII. He volunteered many hours at Cumberland Medical Center and the Cumberland County Playhouse and was a member of the 127 Senior Center.

He is survived by his sons- Peter Kaufmann of Carl Junction, MO and Michael Kaufmann of Kennesaw, GA, daughter- Patricia Daneman of Lenexa, KS, grandchildren- Peter, Tony, Hannah, MacKenzie, Michael, Daniel, David and Kathy and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Dorothy Kaufmann, brother- Joseph Kaufmann and son-in-law- Barry Daneman.

Funeral services will be held Thursday April 11 ^th , 2019 at 10am at Hood Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 10 ^th , 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Hood Funeral Home.
