PAUL JAMES BARNES age 76 of Crossville, TN passed away June 10, 2025. He was born January 21, 1949 in Crossville, TN the son of Alfred J. and Deanie Davis Barnes. After graduating from CCHS, he enlisted in the United States Army where he faithfully served his country for 21 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lawana Barnes, children- Samuel Wade Barnes (Holi), Sheri Walters (Darlene), Charles "Ricky" Miller and Michelle Barnes (RJ), grandchildren- Makenna Miller, Savannah Miller, Hayden Davis, Deacon Barnes and Ellie Barnes, great grandchildren- Nevaeh Rodriguez, Sophia Baldwin, StormLynn Miller, Josie Baldwin and Colt Baldwin, brother- Hershel Eller, sisters- Dimple Achey, Doris Medley and Fannie Mae Houston along with an abundance of loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather- Bowman Eller, brother- Lester Barnes and sister- Notie Wells.

Memorial Services will be held Friday June 13, 2025 at 1pm at Pine Grove Church of God of Prophecy. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12noon- 1pm one hour prior to the service at the church.
