Nancy Beasley, born 1938, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Chattanooga Hospice after suffering a sudden massive stroke. She was 88.

Nancy was raised in Pennsylvania until she and her husband settled in North Florida to raise their family on the Suwanee River in a house they built themselves. In her 50's Nancy began a new adventure by going back to school and becoming an executive assistant at University of Florida in Gainesville. She remained a huge Gator fan throughout her life. She especially enjoyed driving her car with the windows down, wearing shades, and her radio on. She spent her vacations hiking the Appalachian Trail. After retiring, she moved to Sparta Tennessee where she was an active member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, as well as her only daughter, Janice. She is survived by her sons Tom Beasley of Bell, Florida, Michael Beasley of High Springs, Florida, and John (Susan) Beasley of Sparta, Tennessee. She is also survived by grandsons Andrew (Alex) Beasley, Derrick Beasley, Chris (Jalisa) Beasley, granddaughters Valerie (Jason) Gonthier, Melanie (David) Hernandez, Cassidy Harvey, and Megan (Pierre) Richards, great-grandchildren Liliana, Grant, Bailey, Easton, and Makenna.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
