MYRTIS CHRISTINE JONES, age 90 of Crossville, TN passed away February 26, 2022. She was born July 6, 1931, in Canton, Mississippi, the daughter of William and Alma Grey Burnham. She was retired from Cumberland Medical Center where she worked as a unit secretary. She was also a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters- Rose Jones of Crossville, TN and Lynn Jones Inga and her husband Eden of Monterey, TN, grandchildren- Tina Kerley, Jeremy Jones, Megan Jones, Melody Jones, Davina Barnes and Amy DeMasters, great grandchildren- Alex Kerley (Lexie), Estrella Gomez, William Jones, Aiden Jones, Mina Christine Jones, Alyssa Tabor, Ethan Barnes and Austin Burress and great great grandchildren- Sophia Burress, Haeven Kerley, Braelyn Kerley, paisley Kerley and Alexandrea Kerley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Birl Jones Jr., children- Susan Rittenberry, Bill Jones and Oscar Ray Jones, granddaughter- Hannah Inga and great grandson- Justin Kerley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 2, 2022, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family ill receive friends on Wednesday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
