MAE L. PLEINIS age 82 of Crossville, TN passed away June 30, 2022. She was born February 15, 1940 in New Leipzig, ND the daughter of Frederick and Carolina Heupel Lang. She was retired from Cumberland Medical Center and later worked several years as a cashier at Walmart. She was also a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sons- Larry D. Pleinis and his wife Michelle of Crossville, TN, Thomas J. Pleinis and his wife Julie of Madison, AL and Jeffery Pleinis and his wife Lisa of Springboro, OH, daughters- Debra K. Rupe and her husband Michael of Crossville, TN and Carol Vaughn and her husband Eric of Murfreesboro, TN, brother- Leo Lang and his wife Ann of Tomah, WI, sisters- Erna Pleinis of Bowie, MD, Judy Hale and her husband Ron of Cincinnati, OH and Linda Lang of Aberdeen, SD, grandchildren- Robert, Greg, Jennifer, Dean, John, Joseph, Christopher, Preston, Leah, Hannah, Phoebe, Ava, Abby and Luke and great grandchildren- Bradley, Zoe, Addison, Olivia, Ethan, Jude and Lucy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry D. Pleinis, daughter- Diane Sue Pleinis and siblings- Loretta Fisher, Lillian Olson, Leonard Lang, Ellen Fisher, Loretta Toman and Donald Lang.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 5, 2022 at 2pm at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1pm-2pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
