Laura Beth “Betty” Phillips, 96, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Born on February 10, 1930, to Ross Clevelle and Gladys Elizabeth Miller in South Bend, Indiana, Betty was married to her loving husband, Don, on January 14, 1950, and they spent many happy years as managers of a motel in Crossville, TN. She was known for her dedication to her church and community, and for her friendliness and sense of humor. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and her children Donn Jr. and Vicky. She is survived by her siblings Ross C. Miller, Kent Miller, and Leanne Miller Stephens. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 4th at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN.
