KENNETH "BUDDY" MACKIE JR. age 73 of Crab Orchard, TN passed away September 22, 2018. He was born December 9, 1944 in Cumberland County, TN the son of Kenneth Sr. and Ellen Strader Mackie. He worked many years in Oak Ridge and also as a supervisor in Rockwood at Direct Reduction. He was a member of Crab Orchard Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife- Faye Mackie of Crab Orchard, TN, son- Douglas Mackie of Crab Orchard, TN, daughter-Sis Mackie of Rockwood, TN, sisters- Edith Hayes of Crab Orchard, TN, Patsy Barnwell and her husband Sam of Crab Orchard, TN and Brenda Lee of Ozone, TN, grandchildren- DJ Mackie (Stacy) and Buddy Mackie (Jennifer) and great grandchildren- Braden Mackie, Jaylyn Mackie, Eden Mackie, Noah Mackie, Steven Jolly and Christopher Jolly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter- Donna Mackie, sisters- Tennie Dannel and Diana Godsey and brother- Tommy Burgess.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 26, 2018 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm prior to the service at Hood Funeral home. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
