It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Charles Jordan. Ken, “Kenny,” passed away on June 19, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was 77.

Ken was born to Adelbert and Jean Jordan on September 17, 1948, in Sodus, New York. The family later settled in Winter Park, Florida, where he graduated from Winter Park High School in 1966. He then joined the Winter Park Telephone Company, where he worked for more than 40 years.

Ken was a devoted and loving father to Kelly Jordan and Kristin Moats (Jason) and grandfather to Kayla Moats (Yusef).

Whether known as Ken, Kenny, son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, or friend, he loved selflessly. To know him was to know a love unlike any other.

A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hood Funeral Home, 2371 Hwy 127 S, Crossville, TN 38572. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a reception to follow, location to be announced after the service.
