Keith Leroy Battles of Crossville, TN passed away on Thursday September 10, 2020 at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. He was born October 16, 1936 in Des Moines, IA the son of Clifford Allen and Emma Pauline Rice Battles.

He is survived by his wife Mary Elizabeth Battles of Crossville TN, children- Sandi Furoni (Paul), Jeffrey Battles, Gregory Battles (Michelle), Andrew Battles (Cindy), Scott Battles (Olga), Lisa Vishaway (Todd) and James T. Brown (Barbara), grandchildren- Athena Furoni, Cory Battles, Erin Battles, Savannah Battles, Jillian Battles, Brandyn Battles, Alisha Hanlon, Carissa Hanlon, Tyler Vishaway, Kiersten Vishaway and Cody Brown, great grandchildren- Skylar Squires, Peyton Squires, Paislee Squires, Grayson Kelly, Aurora Battles, with one on the way and step grandchild Meghan. He is also survived by- sister- Linda Buttrey (Jim) of Rogers, AR, stepsister- Linda Kimball of Des Moines, IA, stepbrothers- Larry Bowers(Evelyn) of Colorado Springs, CO, Dennis Bowers (Sue) of Tacoma, WA and Fred Bowers (Maxine) of Bondurant, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents- Clifford and Emma Battles of Newton, IA (Keith's father Clifford was the son of Cecil and Martha Battles and his mother Emma was daughter of Christopher and Carrie Rice), sister, Carolyn M. Fredrick (Norman) of Knoxville, IA, brother- Stan Battles of Margie Springs, Idaho, grandaughter- Jennifer Lee Hanson of Easthampton, MA and his beloved Beagle, "Babe " aka Babe Leroya!
