A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024 from 1pm-2pm for Karen S. Burns, age 59 of Crossville, TN. Karen passed away March 19, 2024. She was born February 13, 1965 in Tuscola, Illinois the daughter of Kenneth and Fern Ingrum Emberton. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons- Tim Emberton of Decatur, IL and Phillip Wachenheim of Crossville, TN, daughters- Heather Wachenheim (Patrick McMurray) and Crystal Wachenheim (John Mace) all of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Zachary McMurray, Lyric McMurray, Tristen Benson and Leelyn Benson and siblings- John Emberton of Clarksville, TN, Chuck Emberton of Decatur, IL, Carol Barker (Charlie) of Henderson, NC, Marsha Poole (Rick) of Zephyr Hills, FL, Kevin Emberton (Sayra) of Arcadia, FL and Dennis Emberton of Pinellas Park, FL.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandchild.- Sunny Stafford and brothers- Jerry Emberton and Richard Emberton.
