Judith Warner Calek, 74, of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly September 2026. Judy was born October 1951, and lived most of her life in Elgin, Illinois, before moving to Fairfield Glade. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life and the source of her greatest hope. For more than 50 years, Judy faithfully served the Lord through prayer ministry, Bible studies, mentoring, mission trips, and countless other opportunities to love and encourage others. She also served as a dedicated police chaplain. She was always eager to pray with anyone she met and had a gift for making people feel cared for and remembered. Her love for Christ was evident in the way she lived and in the JOY she gave to those around her.

Judy found great joy in the simple things in life. She loved cooking and baking, crafting, decorating for every season, gardening, and gathering with family and friends to play games. Christmas held a special place in her heart as she cherished its traditions and the opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus with those she loved. She had a deep appreciation for nature and especially cherished the wildlife of Fairfield Glade, watching the deer, listening for and observing the many birds. She loved bike rides and kayaking with her beloved husband, Robert, and spending time with their little dog, Posy. These quiet moments surrounded by God’s creation brought her great happiness.

Judy is survived by her adoring husband, Robert Calek; her children, Philip (Shawna) Warner, Theresa Price McQuillen, and Annette (Philip) Olszewski; her grandsons, Ethan Price, Jacob Price, Alex Crane, and Levi Warner; her brother, Larry (Barb) Glowacki; her sister, Jan (Phil) Young; and her closest friend Jo Anne Rohrer, who has been an incredible blessing to both Robert and Judy.

Judy leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to her family and to the Lord. Though her sudden passing leaves a tremendous emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at home with her Papa God, free from pain and sorrow, and rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. Her earthly life has ended, but her eternal life has just begun. We hold firmly to the promise that one day we will be reunited with her in Heaven.
