JOY (SHADOAN) MOYER was born October 24, 1933, in Grant County, KY, the daughter of George and Sylvia (Woodyard) Shadoan. She was married to Harold Moyer on September 6, 1952. She passed away December 8, 2021, at Wyndridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Plateau Christian Church in Crossville, TN and was formerly a member of Montgomery Church of Christ and Maderia Church of Christ in Ohio. Joy and Harold retired to Crossville in May of 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sylvia Shadoan, daughter- Barbara Jean Botto, brother and sister-in-law-David and Jo.

She is survived by her husband- Harold of Crossville, TN, sister- Maxine (Floyd) Hicks of Burlington, KY, nephews- Ken, Bob and Jim Hicks and Steve Shadoan, niece- Kim Shadoan and grandson- Anthony Botto.

Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Hill, KY. A Memorial service will be held in early January at Plateau Christian Church.
