JOSEPH LEWIS WOODY SR. age 75 of Crossville, TN passed away October 18, 2020. He was born May 17, 1945 in Crossville, TN the son of Rye and Maggie Copeland Woody. He was retired from the Cumberland County School System and was also a United States Marine veteran having served during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife- Barbara Woody of Crossville, TN sons- Joe Woody Jr. and his wife Joan, Randy Woody and his wife Chelsey, Kevin Woody and his wife Paula and Jeff Woody and his wife Misty all of Crossville, TN, brother- Jimmy Woody and his wife Kem of Crossville, TN, sister- Wanda Huff and her husband Jim of Cleveland, TN and grandchildren- Hayden Woody and his fiancé Samantha Goddard, Emma Woody, Rylan Woody, Christopher Dalton, Kevin Woody Jr., Keely Woody, Alyssa Woody, Jeffrey Allen Woody Jr. and Madison Woody.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers- Raymond Woody and Oliver Kiah Woody, paternal grandparents- Hezikiah Kiah and Verna Woody and maternal grandparents- Campbell and Dora Lou Copeland.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday October 24, 2020 at 4pm at Trinity Tabernacle Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3pm-4pm prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully asked that donations be made to Relay for Life or a local hospice of your choice, in Joe's memory.
