JOSEPH O. LOWE age 74 of Crossville, TN passed away October 31, 2020. He was born July 1, 1946 in Crossville, TN the son of Otto and Nettie Sloan Lowe. He was owner of Joe Lowe Builders for over 40 years with 25 of those years spent building in Fairfield Glade. He attended Lawrence Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. Joe loved his family, especially his grandchildren. You could never have a conversation with Joe without discussing his grandbabies. They were his pride and joy. Joe also loved to farm, and he taught his grandchildren about farming and taking care of the animals. He was an avid sportsman and that too was something he shared with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife- Linda Cox Lowe of Crossville, TN, sons- Joe Lowe Jr. and his wife Dana of Crossville, TN, daughter- Kim Lowe Hinch and her husband Sam of Crossville, TN, brothers- Earl Lowe and his wife Theresa of Crossville, TN, Claude Lowe of Jamestown, TN, Dale Lowe of Pikeville, TN and Billy Lowe of Jamestown, TN, sisters- Kathy Lowe, Brenda Bailey and Rachel Pryor all of Crossville, TN, stepmother- Willie Mae Lowe of Crossville, TN and grandchildren- Devin Hinch Cole and her husband Brandon and Lexi Hinch Parsons and her husband Logan all of Chattanooga, TN and Brody Lowe and Briggs Lowe.

In addition to his parents, hew as preceded in death by his brothers- Clyde, Glen and Melvin Lowe and sister- Ella Mae Bilbrey.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 4, 2020 at 2pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00am-2:00pm three hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www2.jdrf.org
