JOSEPH W. GENTRY age 78 of Sparta, TN passed away December 26, 2025. He was born June 10, 1947 in Sparta, TN the son of Earl Clouse and Mary Lee Gentry. He worked for many years as housekeeping supervisor with Wyndridge Health and Rehab and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughters- Melinda G. Brooks (Jamie Brooks) of Sparta, TN and Sherrie L. Gentry (Ronnie Branham) of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Jake, william "Tater" and Billie Ann and many great and great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Anna Mable Gentry, brother- John Clouse, son- James W. Parham and son-in-law- Ralph Brooks.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
