DR. JOHN C. WILLIAMS age, 96, of Crossville, TN passed away March 25, 2024.  He was born October 3, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan.  He was a Coast Guard Veteran having served during WWII.  He was a member of the West Avenue Church of Christ in Crossville, TN.  He married his wife, Ida Iris Burger Williams, in Oakland, California on October 10, 1947, and together the couple celebrated 72 years of marriage before her passing.  He worked for many years until his retirement with the Michigan Department of Education.

He is survived by his son- Clifford C Williams and wife Pam of Roseville, MI, Daughter- Gloria Lynn Campbell and husband  Dwight of Atlanta, MI, Grandchildren- John Jeremy Scott, Maria Elena Williams and Alex Morgan Williams Great Grandchildren- Alaina Elizabeth Williams and Eva Janae Harris. Several nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Iris Williams

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 26, 2024, at 7pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5pm-7pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Atlanta, MI
