JOHN D. GAYNOR age 66 of Crossville, TN passed away May 29, 2019. He was born June 15, 1952 in West Palm Beach, FL the son of Francis and Ruby Swicegood Gaynor. He was retired after many years as a pipefitter with Local 102 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He was also a United States Army veteran having served during Vietnam. He was a kind and generous man who was loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his son- Baxter Gaynor and his wife Holly of Cordova, TN, longtime companion- Donna Holloway of Apollo Beach, FL, brothers- Joseph Gaynor and Jim Gaynor both of Crossville, TN, sisters- Wilma Gaynor of Knoxville, TN, Mary Bechtol and her husband Dan of Ooltewah, TN, Ruth Gaynor of Chattanooga, TN, Paula Gaynor Crossville, TN and Bernadette Gaynor also of Crossville, TN, stepchildren- Johnie Holloway and April Holloway, grandchildren- Samantha, Tyler, Lindsey and Emma, step grandchildren- Dustin, Dylan and Natasha and step great grandchildren- Remington and Waylon.

Graveside services will be held Saturday June 1, 2019 at 11AM at Stansbury Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday May 31, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Hood Funeral Home.
