It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Hood, who left us on February 10, 2025 at the age of 65. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose kindness, wisdom, and love touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Born on July 2, 1959 in Crossville, Tennessee, Jerry lived a life full of love, hard work, and dedication to his family. He was known for his sense of humor, generosity, his mechanical ability, and the love of his family.

He is survived by his wife Betty Hood, children Jennifer Asberry and Jaclyn Hood, grandchildren Parker and Pierce Asberry, siblings Donnie and Diane Hood, who will forever cherish his memory and carry on his legacy of love and strength. He was preceded in death by his son Jacob Hood, parents Zola King and Arzie Hood, brothers Arlie, Donald, Ronnie Hood, and sister Annie Kilgore.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 14, 2025 from 2-4pm at Hoods Funeral Home.

Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Jerry. You will always be loved and remembered.
