JERRY M. BEATY age 84 of Crossville, TN passed away January 11, 2021. He was born December 2, 1936 in Fentress County, TN the son of James L. and Lillian M. Young Beaty. He retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol after 32 years of service, retiring as District Captain. He had always hoped to have as many years of retirement as he had working years and only missed it by 2. He was also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years- Margaret Beaty of Crossville, TN sons- Paul Webb and his wife Pat of Brentwood, TN, Mike Beaty and his wife Karen of Harriman, TN and Dave Beaty and his wife Debbie of Crossville, TN, brothers- Joe Beaty and Jess Beaty and his wife Helen, sister- Beverly Beaty Williams, grandchildren- Courtney Jones, Paige Beaty, Bailey White, Austin White, Alex White, Austin Webb, Jason Webb, Adam Webb, Justin Beaty, Jake Beaty, Jenna Beaty and Jacie Beaty and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothes- Jim Beaty and Ray Beaty and his wife Frances and sister-in-law- Joyce Beaty.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 14, 2021 at 1pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10am-1pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Beaty Cemetery in Jamestown, TN.
