JAY DEAN MONDAY age 87 of Grandview, TN passed away April 29, 2024. He was born September 15, 1936 in Grandview, TN the son of Alvah and Lona James Monday. He retired from Emergency One in Ocala, FL before moving back to Crossville in 2008. He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons- Scott Monday and his wife Donna of Grandview, TN and Steven Monday and his wife Shelby of Ocala, FL, sister- June Ann Craig of Virginia, grandchildren- Jason Monday, Jesse Monday and his wife Vicki, Leah Monday, Rebecca Weber, Christiana Monday, Shawnee O'Connell and her husband Colin and Elijah Monday and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Monday and sister- Jean Knox.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 4, 2024 at 4pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 4, 2024 from 2pm-4pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery in Grandview, TN.
