Obituary

JAMES "LARRY" KELLOUGH age 76 of Crossville, TN passed away August 24, 2020. He was born February 12, 1944 in Corydon, KY the son of James W. and Frances Berry Kellough. He was retired from the communication industry as a video engineer and was also a member of Illinois National Guard. He and Sandy spent several years in Vincennes, IN before returning to Robinson, IL, where they spent a few years before moving to New Orleans, LA where they lived for more than 25 years. They retired to Crossville, TN in 2006. Larry has been involved with "Amateur Ham Radio" since 1963 (call sign WB9AZQ) and was a member of Cumberland Plateau Amateur Radio Club and Amateur Radio Emergency Services. He loved music and was a member of Reunion of Professional Entertainers in Nashville. He was also a Beta Sigma Phi Envoy. He was also involved in community events, volunteering at the Cumberland County Playhouse, Cumberland County Fair, Historic Palace Theatre and the National Quartet Convention. He and his wife Sandy were members of Plateau Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Sandy of Crossville, TN, sister- Lois O'Nan and her husband Dorris of Newburg, IN, brother- Al Kellough and his wife Clara of Georgetown, KY, stepbrother- Calvin "Butch" Smith and his wife Brenda of Frankfort, KY, stepsister- Sharon Sugg and her husband Bill of Joliet, IL, sister-in-law- Kay Lacy and her husband Gary of Monticello, IL and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law- Mike Seaney, sister-in-law- Donna Bone and nephew- Jeff Kellough.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 27, 2020 at 7pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6pm-7pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Services will be held later held in Oblong, IL at Pulliam's Funeral Home with burial in Palestine Cemetery.
