ISAAC WOODROW HALE age 79 passed away August 24, 2026. He was born March 29, 1947 a son of Charlie and Willene Hale, and was a lifelong resident of Crossville. He passed surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kitty Akins Hale, sons, grandsons and nieces and nephews.

Ike was a veteran of the US Army and retired from his own business in real estate appraisal. He served on multiple committees and boards in the community over the years and always worked enthusiastically for their benefit.

Ike will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am-1pm two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Akins Cemetery.
