Howard Wayne Poe, of Crossville, TN, passed away on 10/24/2021 at Cumberland Medical Center after a long battle with colon cancer. He was born on 08/15/1949 in Darlington, SC to Eugene and Betty Poe. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1969 and served in the Vietnam War as a CH-46 helicopter crew chief. He worked various jobs in his life which included working for Hicks Brother Chevrolet in Kansas City, concessionaire, real estate, and Wal-Mart. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Vicky, and their three children, Audra, Tara, and Bryant. He was in preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Randy. He will be remembered by his friends and family for his love of family, friends, music, humor, and his English Bulldogs, Fatz and Nancy. There will be a Celebration of Life that includes a military honor guard on 11/06 at the Shady Rest Junction at 1:00.
