HOWARD "CLAYTON" PENDLETON age 90 of Crossville, TN passed away December 21, 2023. He was born March 28, 1933, in Jonesville, VA the son of John and Flora Pendleton. He was retired from the United States Postal Service and was also a United States Navy veteran, having proudly served our country during Korea. He and his wife Faye were members of Abundant Life Church of God of Prophecy.

He is survived by his wife Faye Pendleton of Crossville, TN, daughters- Jayne Warren and her husband Scott of Cookeville, TN, Susie Knese and her husband Paul of Dayton, OH and Crystal Lockard and her husband Carl, sons- Joel Taylor of Dayton, OH and Jackie Taylor and his wife Karen also of Dayton, OH, grandchildren- Jesse Aylor and husband Joel, Mike Knese and wife Jessi, Megan Lockard and Jackson Lockard and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife- Mary Helen Pendleton and siblings- John Pendleton, Mary Lou Hudson and Alma Ruth Horton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 27, 2023, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
